The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex spine surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicant must be ABNS certified or eligible and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education.
Teaching responsibilities may include the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include the general practice of neurosurgery with an emphasis on spinal surgery.
